Since 1986 we have been providing refrigerated temperature controlled chilled and frozen same-day, emergency and bespoke courier services to the UK food and pharmaceutical industries, from anywhere to anywhere throughout the UK and Europe.

Temperature Controlled Storage Services

We have frozen, chilled and ambient storage facilities with the capability to handle not only UK pallets but euro pallets, roll cages, dollies, dolavs, drums, IBC's and other non standard bases.

UK Food Export

Our European logistics operations "Medspan" specialises in the collection and delivery of frozen, chilled and ambient food products for the UK holiday markets and expatriate communities throughout Europe in particular France, Spain, Portugal, the Balearic Islands, and the Canary Islands.

Pallets can either be delivered by your suppliers into our warehouse and coldstore based at Brixworth in Northamptonshire, or alternatively we can arrange collection from anywhere within the UK via our own UK logistics operations or our network of sub-contracted partners.

We work on behalf of both the UK based food exporters and also the European based food importers of UK frozen, chilled and ambient products. We liaise closely with both the buyer and the seller to enable a fast, efficient and cost effective supply chain.

Our clients in Europe range from local independent shops and supermarkets retailing UK foods, through to single and multi depot distributors offering UK food service deliveries to hotels and restaurants. Our clients in the UK include food producers, manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, cash & carry operators and export agents.

Our temperature controlled groupage services depart the UK every Friday of week one delivering throughout mainland Spain and Portugal usually by Wednesday of week two. Deliveries to the Balearic Islands are usually completed by Friday of week two, and deliveries to the Canary Islands are usually completed by Friday of week three.

Consolidation

As part of our warehouse operations we also offer consolidation services enabling our clients to purchase smaller volumes from multiple suppliers which can be combined into mixed pallets prior to export.

Container Shipping

In addition to temperature controlled road freight we also provide frozen, chilled and ambient sea freight container shipping from the UK to most worldwide destinations. We can arrange to load approximately 10 UK pallets into a 20ft container or up to 20 UK pallets into a 40ft container.
