As a provider of temperature controlled logistics services we carry out daily deliveries of frozen, chilled and ambient food products into UK distribution centres on behalf of suppliers to the major supermarket chains such as Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsbury, Waitrose, Co-operative, Makro, Costco, Aldi and Lidl.
Our "Taxifridge" logistics service specialises in collecting and delivering same-day, emergency and last minute consignments from suppliers and maufacturers accross the UK and ensuring they are delivered safely into the various supermarket distribution centres (RDC's), in time for transhipment and onward delivery to the various stores across the country. Our same-day courier fleet ranges from sample vans through to large goods vehicles capable of carrying up to 16 pallets or 13000kg of product.
Our international logistics service specialises in transporting full loads of chilled fruit and vegetables from mainland Spain into the various supermarket distribution centres (RDC's) throughout the UK. Working on behalf of either the Spainish exporter or the UK based importer we ensure the goods are transported safely and efficiently and arrive on time at the distrubution centres, for transhipment and onward delivery to the stores.

On 27th July 2012 the Olympic Games opens in London (UK) and it is expected that many millions of people will visit the area during the course of the games throughout the months of July and August.
The increased volume of people is expected to generate significant increases in the movement of food and beverages during the games and Taxifridge is ideally placed to assist with this additional demand.
Located at Brixworth in Northamptonshire we are approximately 60 miles north of central London, and offer not only temperature controlled frozen, chilled and ambient storage facilities but also temperature controlled distribution throughout the UK, and same-day emergency courier services for bespoke consignments.
Storage Services
All stock received into our warehouse and coldstore is fully checked against your supplier paperwork and monitored by our bespoke IT system for case quantities, weights, production codes, date codes and other customer specific details. Products are rotated by date code unless otherwise instructed and we hold full traceability from receipt to despatch. Stock reports can be emailed in .pdf or .xls format or can be faxed as required.
Telesales and Order Processing
Our IT systems also include a fully featured telesales and order management facility allowing us to take orders direct from your customers, or schedule customer contact calls on your behalf. We can also provide dedicated DDI telephone numbers and answer your incoming calls with your own company details.
Order Picking, Packing and Despatch
Full pallet orders, mixed pallet orders and individual case or unit orders can be picked and prepared ready for despatch either by customers own transport, or via our own temperature controlled distribution services. Palletised orders can be despatched for next day delivery throughout most the UK, and small volume orders can be despatched using insulated boxes with ice packs via overnight carriers.
UK Distribution
Palletised orders of either frozen, chilled or ambient goods can be despatched from our warehouse and coldstore on a daily basis for next-day delivery throughout the UK.
Same-Day Logistics
For dedicated and urgent consignments we offer temperature controlled same-day courier services throughout the UK. We operate a fleet of temperature controlled frozen, chilled, ambient and multi-temperature vehicles ranging from samples vans through to 26 tonne rigid trucks which are available at short notice for one off consginments or as short term additions to your normal distribution arrangements.
