"Taxifridge" and "Medspan" are part of an independent family owned business lead by Tony Waterfield, Mark Waterfield and Steve Atkinson who between them have over 50 years experience in the temperature controlled wholesale, distribution and logistics industries.

Based at Brixworth in Northamptonshire, we have been providing temperature controlled storage and transport services to the UK food and pharmaceutical industries since 1986.

Taxifridge was one of the first (if not the first) temperature controlled courier services to operate in the UK and over the last 20 years has built a reputation for flexibility and reliability that is second to none.

More recently Medspan was set up to provide UK food export logistics services to the growing expatritate and holiday markets throughout Europe in particular Spain, Portugal, the Balearic islands, and the Canary islands.

Our clients range from local independent food producers, processors, manufacturers and wholesalers through to 'blue chip' national and multi-national plc companies.

We operate a diverse fleet of temperature controlled vehicles and a team of dedicated people, with the aim of providing a flexible and tailored storage, distribution and logistics service which meets our clients individual and varied requirements.

With the exception of this website we rarely advertise or market our services. Our business has grown on word of mouth and recommendation alone which stands as testament to our un-rivaled level of customer service and support.
