Temperature Controlled Storage Services

We have frozen, chilled and ambient storage facilities with the capability to handle not only UK pallets but euro pallets, roll cages, dollies, dolavs, drums, IBC's and other non standard bases.

European Groupage Services

As part of our UK and European logistics operations we specialise in the collection and delivery of food products for the UK holiday markets and expatriate communities throughout Europe in particular France, Spain, Portugal, the Balearic Islands.

Welcome to "Taxifridge"

Since 1986 Taxifridge has been providing temperature controlled frozen, chilled and ambient, storage, handling, logistics and courier services to food and pharmaceutical companies throughout the UK.

More recently our export service was set up to provide temperature controlled frozen, chilled and ambient logistics from the UK to the ex-patriate and holiday industries throughout Spain, Portugal, the Balearic Islands, and the Canary Islands.

Based at Brixworth in Northamptonshire close to the M1, M6 and A14 intersection we operate a mixed fleet of temperature controlled vehicles ranging from sample vans through to large goods vehicles and specialise in providing same-day logistics and courier services.

Our refrigerated courier service provides dedicated same-day transport for temperature controlled frozen, chilled and ambient consignments from a single box through to 16 pallets or 13000kg.

Our purpose built warehouse and coldstore provides frozen, chilled and ambient storage, handling, telesales, order picking, order packing, load assembly, consolidation and cross-docking services with the capability to handle not only UK pallets but euro pallets, roll cages, dollies, dolavs, drums, IBC containers and other non standard bases.

Our UK logistics services have an extensive network of reliable sub-contractors based throughout the UK and Europe which enables us to move full loads, part loads, back loads, groupage loads and overnight consignments of ambient, chilled and frozen goods at short notice on a one-off, short term or long term basis.

Our export services have vehicles departing the UK on a daily basis for full loads, part loads, back loads and groupage loads of ambient, chilled and frozen goods throughout Europe, in particular to the UK holiday and expatriate markets in Spain, Portugal the Balearic Islands, and the Canary Islands.
